Nike brings us their first ever platypus-inspired sneaker with the Air Force 1 Duck Boot. The mixture of classic duck boot and Air Forces will come in two colorways, black and brown. The combo carries over not just in design, but also functionality; the shoes feature a wool collar and thermal insulation as well as outer waterproofing. A release date hasn’t been officially announced but look for them to hit retailers soon.
Chemistry Surfboards out of Oceanside, California just released this video of their production process. It’s a creatively filmed look at the development of their custom boards. Check out the video for Raphael Saadiq‘s track Radio from his upcoming album Stone Rollin’. The video, along with the song, blends old school soul and modern elements together (a la Mayor Hawthorne) to create an entirely new– yet familiar sound. A motown revival? This Stussy x Manhattan Portage collaboration brings in a fresh new year with clean lines on either black/white or blue/white colorways. Unfortunately the bags are only available in Stussy Japan stores for now, but Manhattan Portage announced they’ll be sold worldwide later this Spring. We’ll keep you posted when they become available.
